Hodges names its Student of the Month for July 2010

The Academic Committee of Hodges University has named Louise Ghigliotty the student of the month for July. The Academic Committee consists of the program chairs and other elected faculty, chaired by the Executive Vice President of Academic Affairs, Dr. Jeanette Brock.

According to Dr. Earl Bradford Smith, “Ms. Louise Ghigliotty, a student in my Interdisciplinary Studies class, is an honor student who often leads the Learning Teams in the classroom to support other students’ success and actively participates in classroom discussions with insightful questions and responses.  Also, she uses technology very well to complement her presentations and possesses excellent research ability.  In her personal life, she is the mother of two children and has been employed at Home Depot for 22 years. In her community, Louise has been involved with various organizations, including being a mentor to young women, a member of the Parents’ School Football Boosters, and is a Registrar for her Charity Playground Leaders Association! It is my honor to highly recommend Louise Ghigliotty for the Hodges University Student of the Month recognition!”

Louise Ghigliotty will receive a recognition certificate and a $100 tuition credit. Congratulations, Louise!  We are proud of your academic success.
