Dr. Joseph Heinzman, Program Chair of the Business Administration program at Hodges University, has been elected President of the Eastern Collier Chamber of Commerce at the Board meeting held recently. Heinzman has been active in the Chamber and has served as Chair of the Education Committee.
“I am honored to serve this organization,” Heinzman said. “This Chamber has a
long history of service to the Immokalee area and is planning the future of Eastern Collier County, reaching out to businesses throughout eastern Collier County and working closely with the planned communities in the area,” he added.
According to Heinzman, some of the challenges facing the Chamber include the industrial and economic growth of business and industry at the Regional Airport, and meeting the demands of a growing community as eastward expansion continues.
Heinzman has been with Hodges University since 2004.
