Hodges University has announced several key appointments in three of their most popular programs. In Health Information Management, Linda Coutts, B.S., RHIA has agreed to chair the Health Information Management Program. Professor Coutts joined the faculty in January, 2011. She has over twenty years of health information management experience and has already provided students with great real world experience examples.
In the Applied Psychology Program, Professor Aubrey Harwood has been appointed Vice Chair. Professor Harwood, who is currently pursuing her PhD in Clinical Psychology, has been a member of the Hodges team since 2007. In addition to teaching, she is the Academic Advisor for the Naples Applied Psychology Program and the faculty advisor for the Psychology Club on both campuses. The club is very active in the community and recently won first place in the “Canstruction” competition that donated over 700 canned goods to charity.
The Nichols School of Professional Studies has announced the appointment of Dr. Andrew Weyl as Director of the Master of the Legal Studies Program. Dr. Weyl has been a full-time faculty member in the Paralegal/Legal Studies Program since 2007. He has made many contributions to Hodges University over the last four years including the development and implementation of the Master of Legal Studies Program. Dr. Weyl is the faculty advisor for the Legal Society’s club, whose members visit law schools, jails and participate in discipline specific events.
