International College and the Greater Naples Chamber of Commerce have announced the schedule for the 2007 Leadership Institute. The executive management program was created in 2000 to enhance the skills of established community leaders with state of the art leadership and management techniques to meet the demands of today’s competitive business environment.
Dr. Fred Nerone, Dean of the Kenneth Oscar Johnson School of Business at International College, sees the program as the ultimate level in executive development. “This program seeks to produce better, more effective leaders,” says Nerone. “Participants will emerge with improved critical thinking ability, enhanced communication skills and greater initiative in terms of moral stewardship and community trusteeship. These are very similar to the core competencies our college imparts to students.”
Classes begin on March 28, 2007 with an introductory lunch. Regular sessions then commence every other Wednesday, beginning April 4, 2007. Each of the full-day sessions are held at the Naples Campus of International College and limited to 25 participants.
