The Academic Committee of Hodges University has named Barbara Novak the student of the month for January.
The Academic Committee consists of the program chairs and other elected faculty, chaired by the Executive Vice President of Academic Affairs, Dr. Jeanette Brock. Ms. Novak was nominated for the award by Dr. Carlene Harrison, Dean of the School of Allied Health.
“Barbara is a Health Studies student on our Fort Myers campus with a high GPA,” commented Dr. Harrison. “Barbara is also the president of the Allied Health Club and under her leadership the club is growing and providing great opportunities for the Allied Health Club students. She is always cooperative, friendly and willing to help out where needed.”
As the student of the month, Barbara will receive a formal letter with the nomination comments for her portfolio and files, a certificate and a $100 tuition credit.
