Hodges University announced today that it will dedicate a classroom at its Ft. Myers campus to Val Ward Cadillac. The University is honoring the local auto dealership for their many years of sponsorship in a variety of fundraisers.
“It’s a personal and professional pleasure to recognize the Val Ward Family and Val Ward Cadillac by dedicating a classroom at the Hodges University Fort Myers campus in their honor,” said Phil Memoli, Director of Development at Hodges. “Their generosity in support of scholarships has facilitated the transition of veteran students from military to civilian life and has made the dream of a college education attainable for other deserving students. The support of Val Ward Cadillac has benefited so many students at a most critical time and will truly make a difference in their lives. The entire University community is grateful.”
“For almost 40 years, we have proudly served Fort Myers and the Southern Florida area from Venice to Naples,” said Trey Ward, third generation owner at Val Ward. “Part of our success is in being part of the community, and we realize that supporting the education of our residents is crucial in building a lasting relationship between our dealership family and the community. We are proud of the accomplishments of Hodges University and its students, and we are honored to be recognized as their partner in education.”
Under Ward’s management, Val Ward Cadillac has earned the distinction of being the number one certified, pre-owned Cadillac dealership in the United States, and has won numerous national awards for top performance in customer service and satisfaction. Honors include Cadillac’s Master Dealer Award, recognizing top dealers in the country.
The dealership also supports a variety of local charities, including the Canterbury School, the Bobby Nichols-Fiddlesticks Charity Foundation and Habitat for Humanity.
