Seven International College Students Pass Real Estate Transactions Certification Examination
Seven International College legal studies students, who successfully completed the College’s new Real Estate Transactions course, have taken and passed The FUND Certification Exam.
Those students are: Lisa M. Gdovin, Fort Myers; Kenneth Ginsberg, Naples; Susan Hardwig, Naples; Majani Lullein Hatem, Cape Coral; Trisha Locke, Fort Myers; Becky Pomerson, Bonita Springs; and Peggy Siebert, Cape Coral.
Individuals who pass the exam receive FUND Certification in real estate closing procedures.
Last November, Orlando-based Attorneys’ Title Insurance Fund -- which provides title insurance to member attorneys throughout Florida and several other states -- designated International College’s Real Estate Transaction course as a Paralegal Certification Program. International College is one of five Florida colleges designated as a FUND Paralegal Certification Program.
Title Insurance Fund offers individuals who successfully complete the course lifetime job placement with attorneys throughout the state of Florida. There are 6,000 Fund members statewide.
International College students who take the course receive highly concentrated instruction that prepares them for the FUND Certification Exam. Those topics include: basic title examination skills, preparation of commitments, closing documents and final policies, DoubleTime closing software, Propel document retrieval software, and The Fund’s Automated Title Information Data System (ATIDS).
