The Academic Committee of Hodges University has named Sandra Burgado
the student of the month for March. The Academic Committee consists of the program chairs and other elected faculty, chaired by the Executive Vice President of Academic Affairs, Dr. Jeanette Brock.
According to nominating professor Dr. Joseph Kibitlewski, “having Sandra in my classes is an absolute pleasure. Sandra was a teenage mother who has overcome many obstacles to achieve her GED and then her AS in Criminal Justice. She is first one in her family to go to college. She is married with three children and works as a Detention Officer while she continues her baccalaureate degree.”
Sandra Burgado will receive a recognition certificate and a $100 tuition credit. Congratulations, Sandra! We are proud of your academic success.
