The Frances Pew Hayes Center for Lifelong Learning (CLL) at Hodges University will present a free lecture on values clarification. The lecture will be held on Friday, November 11 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Hodges University Science and Technology building, 2655 Northbrooke Drive, just off I-75, in Naples.
Are you getting what you want out of life? Do you know where you draw the line? Becoming aware of your values is the key to making wise choices in all aspects of your life. Uncover the hidden beliefs that reveal what matters most to you, how you deal with life-changing conflicts, which choices will make you happiest, what leisure time activities provide you with the most pleasure, where you honestly stand on controversial issues, what day-to-day events are likely to make you angry ... excited ... anxious ... confident, how best to motivate yourself, and what beliefs can cause conflict in your family or relationships.
Conducting this informative lecture will be Dr. Sidney Simon, Professor Emeritus at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. He is an internationally and nationally recognized authority in the areas of values clarification and values realization, self-esteem and negative criticism. He has published numerous books and has appeared in Reader’s Digest, Ladies Home Journal and Glamour, among many others.
