France Pew Hayes Center for Lifelong Learning Summer 2008 Course Schedule Set at Hodges University

The Francis Pew Hayes Center for Lifelong Learning at Hodges University, along with its community partners Regions Bank, Moorings Park and Homewood Residence, has begun registration for the summer 2008 term.  Classes for the term begin June 23, 2008.

As a member-directed, multi-generational learning community, The Center invites area residents to participate in a diverse range of collaborative, life enhancing activities which are both intellectually and socially fulfilling.

This unique program offers an affordable membership, with no additional course fees. This membership allows access to more than 130 courses offered throughout the year and fosters commitment to the concepts of lifelong learning rather than to one particular course. In this environment, lifelong learning becomes a way of life where members provide each other with social and intellectual support leading to more active community involvement.

The broad-based curriculum allows for stimulating discussion groups, lectures, field trips, and workshops involving arts and literature, economics, the environment, health and wellness, philosophy and spirituality, creative writing and more.

For further information or enrollment instructions, contact Christine Wheeler, Director of the Frances Pew Hayes Center for Lifelong Learning at 239-513-1122 ext. 6133 or by email at
