New Program Offering for Pasco/Hernando Students

Commencing this January, International College will offer courses leading to a bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies (IDS) for students in the Pasco/Hernando area.

"Interdisciplinary Studies degrees are considered the degrees of the future because graduates acquire such a comprehensive understanding of so many different disciplines," explains Program Chair Dr. Elsa Rogers.

"Students are immersed in law, ethics, diversity, leadership, psychology, communication and more. The course model reflects a very well-rounded approach to education and what is learned can be applied in a variety of professional endeavors," adds Dr. Rogers.

International College has hired Carol Wilson-Marlow, a business consultant and President of Creative Dynamics Inc., to serve as professor for the courses which will be offered in an accelerated (or Wheel) format.

Beyond the new IDS program, International College students in the Pasco/Hernando area can also earn undergraduate degrees in Criminal Justice, and both graduate and undergraduate degrees in Management.

Classes are held at Pasco Hernando Community College campuses in New Port Richey, Brooksville and Dade City.
