Hodges names its Student of the Month for December 2010

The Academic Committee of Hodges University has named Oscar Basora the student of the month for December. The Academic Committee consists of the program chairs and other elected faculty, chaired by the Executive Vice President of Academic Affairs, Dr. Jeanette Brock.

According to Professor Todd Everly, “Oscar Basora is currently enrolled in the Associate’s in Criminal Justice program.  Throughout the semester, Mr. Basora has demonstrated a great deal of intellect and professionalism when discussing the topics of Cultural Diversity and Minority Issues related to the text ‘debating points.’

“Mr. Basora is a five year veteran of the Fort Myers Police Department and brings many discussion topics and experience to the field of study.  He is always stepping forward and being the leader of the discussions at hand and provides a great deal of experience to the topics.”

As student of the month, Oscar Basora will receive a recognition certificate and a $100 tuition credit.
