Hodges University Hosts Real Estate Round Table
The Kenneth Oscar Johnson School of Business at Hodges University will be hosting a real estate round table discussion October 16th at 7pm at the University’s Ft. Myers campus. An all-star panel will discuss the "state of real estate" in Lee and Collier counties, and will be moderated by Hodges University professor Dr. Ken Ginsberg.
Members of the panel include Todd Gates, CEO of Gates Total Solutions; Colleen Kvetko, former CEO and current EVP of Fifth Third Bank; R. Bruce Anderson, Esq., partner at the Roetzel and Andress Law Firm and current member of the Southwest Florida Expressway Authority; Joseph Ballarino, founder and president of Amerivest Realty and past president of the Naples Area Board of Realtors; Christopher Braun, broker associate at Downing-Frye Realty and past president of the Naples Area Board of Realtors; Michele Harrison, VP of the Florida Home Builders Association and current president of the Collier Building Industry Association; and Michael Reitman, EVP of the Lee Building Industry Association.
Topics to be discussed include who the stakeholders are in the our local real estate market, how our market differs from other regional markets, the current downturn in real estate, the current "credit crunch," the sub-prime mortgage issue, and when and how our market will improve.
The panel discussion will be held in the Community Room at Hodges University, 4501 Colonial Blvd. in Ft. Myers. The event is open only to Hodges University students
and select guests. The University hopes to provide highlights of the forum on its website, www.hodges.edu.
