Hodges University, in collaboration with the Greater Naples Chamber of Commerce, has released the complete results of the Collier County Business Climate Survey, which was conducted in February 2013. The survey was designed to assess key executives’ perception of the overall business conditions in Collier County. It also identifies key concerns and issues facing existing businesses in the area and names future trends and expectations for growth.
Dr. Aysegul Timur, Professor and Chair of the Business Administration and Public Administration Programs at the Johnson School of Business at Hodges, led a team of Hodges researchers which also included Dr. Gerald Franz, Karen Karavitis, Anke Stugk and Davor Pranjic.
By partnering with the Chamber, Hodges University, as part of its mission, volunteered its institutional resources and expertise to assist with delivering the survey and compiling and analyzing the survey results.
The Chamber plans to use the data in conjunction with many alliances in order to improve the business climate in the County and to help existing businesses continue to develop.
