The Academic Committee of Hodges University has named
Gail Spears the student of the month for December.
According to nominating professor Al Ball, “Gail Spears is one of the best students that I have ever had in class. She is a dedicated student who sets an example for all other members of the class to follow. She arrives to class early, submits all work on time, complete and correct. Her questions and participation help drive the entire class to a higher level. She has a positive attitude in the class and is always eager to use her previous computer experience and knowledge to assist other students in the class.
“I have had Gail as a student in several classes and she is always a pleasure to instruct. She consistently displays a positive attitude as well as an insatiable appetite for knowledge. She is currently maintaining a 3.8 GPA, and will complete her degree at the end of the winter 2010 term. I cannot think of any other student who deserves this award more.”
Gail will receive a recognition certificate and a $100 tuition credit. Congratulations, Gail! We are proud of your academic success.
