Hodges University announced today the recognition of Todd Foege, Managing Principal of EGF Consulting Group, as the recipient of the 2013 Founders Award – an honor presented annually to an outstanding Hodges University graduate who has provided outstanding and distinguished service to our community. The Award will be presented at the 17th
annual Humanitarian of the Year Awards luncheon, Thursday, February 21 at the Naples Beach Hotel & Golf Club.
Foege is a Summa Cum Laude graduate from Hodges University with a Master’s in Business Administration. He received his undergraduate degree in Political Science and History from Florida State University where he also excelled as a student athlete.
“I am honored to receive the 2013 Founders Award,” said Toddd. “My MBA from Hodges University became a springboard for supporting Collier County’s most vulnerable and at-risk children through my work at the Naples Children and Education Foundation and other local organizations. For over 12 years I have received immense fulfillment from helping children in need and I look forward to many more years of service to this community.”
Todd’s work with EGF has allowed him to provide business solutions to organizations including grant research and writing, general fundraising, program development / management and general economic counsel. He has been active with the Naples Winter Wine Festival for a number of years, working for the Naples Children and Education Foundation. He also served as Grants Administrator, then Grants Director, and was named the foundation’s Executive Director in 2011.
He has also taught at-risk high school students in Collier County, provided advocacy for school age children and served as the Chief Operating Officer of The Learning Connection of Naples.
