Hodges University today announced that it has hired Dr. Joseph Pepe, Ed.D, as its new Executive Vice President of Administration. Pepe begins his new position May 1. Dr. Pepe, who most recently served as the Executive Director of Student Educational Centers for Nova Southeastern University (NSU), will succeed John White. White continues with Hodges as Executive Vice President of Finance.

Pepe combines the talents of being an exceptional academician who understands the day-to-day administrative challenges at a university with the experience of working at an institution that has several learning sites. He brings an incredible dedication to higher education, and we are very excited to welcome Dr. Pepe to Hodges.”

Under Dr. Pepe’s leadership at NSU, the Fort Myers center experienced significant enrollment growth leading to the introduction of new programs at the site. Prior to his work in Fort Myers, Dr. Pepe aided in the acquisition, design and build of centers in Miami, Orlando, Palm Beach, Tampa, Jacksonville, Fort Myers and Las Vegas. He also served as Director of the Student Educational Center (SEC) in Miami-Dade and Director at Nova’s SEC Headquarters in Fort Lauderdale.
Dr. Pepe received his B.A. in Psychology and Sociology from the University of South Florida and his Masters in Administration from Central Michigan. He attained his doctoral degree in education at Nova Southeastern University with concentrations in Organizational Leadership, and Instructional Technology and Distance Education.
