Rep. Hudson to speak at graduation ceremony for Hodges ESL students

State Representative Matt Hudson (R-FL) will be the guest speaker at Hodges University’s English as a Second Language (ESL) graduation ceremony on Thursday, August 27 at 2pm. The event will take place in the Community Room at the Ft. Myers campus of the University, located at 4501 Colonial and Winkler.

According to Leisha Klentzeris, Director of the ESL program at Hodges, the ESL graduation is an emotional event. “When you know how far they have come in such a short time, it’s quite inspirational,” said Klentzeris. “They work so hard and are extremely dedicated, using the program to achieve a variety of personal goals. I am so proud of each and every one of them.”

Students currently enrolled in the program hail from over 20 different countries, and often use the ESL program to matriculate into other classes at Hodges. For this term, nearly 200 students will graduate from the intensive program. To learn more about enrolling in Hodges University’s ESL program, phone (239) 482-0019 in Ft.
