The Johnson School of Business at Hodges University has appointed Dr. Aysegul Timur as is new Program Chair for both its Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Public Administration (MPA) programs. The appointment takes effect September 1, 2010.
“Dr. Timur has an excellent record of successful teaching and administration in the business programs,” said Dr. Fred Nerone, Founding Dean of the Johnson School of Business. “Dr. Timur will provide enthusiastic leadership in her newly created position.
“Since this appointment will consolidate the undergraduate and graduate business and public administration programs under one program chair, it facilitates the efficient assignment of faculty and is consistent with our successful model in the management programs.”
In the School of Professional Studies, Dr. Rosemary Arway has been promoted to Director of the Master of Science in Criminal Justice Program. Dr. Arway has been a full time faculty member at Hodges since January, 2009, and brings twenty eight years of professional law enforcement experience to the position. The appointment also takes effect September 1, 2010.
