The Frances Pew Hayes Center for Lifelong Learning (CLL) at Hodges University will present a free lecture on leaving a legacy, and not just a financial one. The lecture will be held on Friday, November 9 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at the Hodges University Science and Technology building, 2655 Northbrooke Drive, just off I-75, in Naples.
Dr. Sidney Simon, Professor Emeritus at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, explores the legacy that one may want to leave loved ones. As a person ages most take care of financial matters, health concerns, and also plan for the twilight years of life. Many will leave loved ones financial bequests, but what about the other legacies one can we leave heirs? How does one want to be remembered? During this interactive workshop Dr. Sidney Simon will help attendees live the way they wish to be remembered.
Dr. Simon is an internationally recognized authority in the areas of values clarification and values realization, self-esteem and negative criticism. A seminar leader for more than 25 years, he is the author of numerous books and has appeared in Reader’s Digest, Ladies Home Journal and Glamour. Dr. Simon is a popular guest speaker, has talked at The Betty Ford Center and appeared on various television programs, including Oprah and The Donahue Show.
