Audubon Collection Displayed at International College

The Thomas and Paula Falciglia Art Galleria at International College hosts an exhibit from John J. Audubon’s "The Birds of America" from now until Sept. 1. The prints, one of only 200 sets ever made, are reproductions of Audubon’s "Fifty Best" hand-colored engravings created between 1826 and 1838. Other editions of the prints have been in libraries and museums worldwide. The edition at International College, on loan to the College from Naples’ Bondstreet Gallery, was reproduced from Audubon’s work at the Field Museum of Natural History in Chicago. The exhibit is free and open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays. International College is at 2655 Northbrooke Drive, Naples, at the intersection of Immokalee Road and Interstate 75.
