Join us for Ravenna and the Roman Empire, presented by Carol Jonson on our Naples campus, S&T Building in the White Community Room (150).
Today this charming small city tucked away on Italy’s
Adriatic coast is not on many tour routes, but it was a strategically important
capital in the last centuries of the Roman Empire. This class will explore the
city’s history from the 3rd through 6th centuries as revealed in its treasures
of incredible architecture and glowing mosaics.
