On February 2, 2008, from 10am to 4pm, Hodges University will host its inaugural Hodges Diversity Festival to celebrate the different cultures represented in Collier & Lee Counties. The goal of the Festival is to promote awareness and appreciation for the diversity within our community.
The event’s theme will be, “Diversity in Our Community.” This family oriented event will include active indoor and outdoor presentations, cultural dancing, and music. There will also be static displays and information booths hosted by various groups. Cultural food tasting booths will be giving away delicious samples of cuisine from all corners of the globe. Additionally, in the main auditorium, lectures and award presentations will take place from the stage. Every element of the festival will focus on recognizing the diversity in our community and celebrating the unity of our existence.
